Why do you work at Traxpay?
Traxpay is an innovative and agile company where I always have the chance to face new challenges. I find that important! I started as a developer in a small development team. I really appreciate the good working atmosphere and the respectful cooperation there in my current area of work as well. What’s more, the work-life balance is just right!
Does the job make you really happy?
I currently feel very comfortable at Traxpay. In my position as Chief Information Security Officer, I can help shape and contribute to making our day-to-day work at Traxpay more secure and efficient. I am pleased to receive a lot of positive feedback about our information security system. This encourages me to continue my work and to improve it permanently.
Looking to the future – what security risks will we be primarily concerned with?
I see the topic of social engineering above all. Attempts are being made to gain insight into companies in order to then specifically entice employees to disclose information about the company and themselves. This information is used to gain access to the corporate network or to initiate unauthorized financial transactions.
The attack scenarios of social engineering are getting better and better and I try to protect our employees and Traxpay from this.
What is at the top of your agenda?
In the security sector, it is particularly important to always stay up to date. All systems and processes, as well as employee behavior, must be continuously adapted to the latest security standards. Security gaps must be uncovered and always dealt with promptly. That way, we are protected against current threats.
What would you do differently in your professional life today?
I am very happy with my career choices. I feel comfortable in IT and have gained a lot of experience in software development. These form a valuable basis for my current area of responsibility. The position I have achieved and the positive recognition of my work encourage me to continue on this path.
