Roland Fitterer, Chief of Staff, Traxpay
Roland Fitterer is responsible for the staff functions as Chief of Staff. When he was given the chance to prove himself in a start-up company in 2018, he accepted the challenge of developing Traxpay further. Before joining Traxpay, he worked for more than 30 years in various positions and areas, including in-house consulting, cash operations, cash management for financial institutions with a focus on “international payments”. In addition to his experience from the various tasks, his core competencies are in staff management, project management and process management. Roland Fitterer lives with his family near Munich. He prefers to spend his free time in the fresh air, hiking and cycling in summer and skiing in winter.

Thomas Fuhrmann, Managing Director and Head of Delivery, Traxpay
Thomas Fuhrmann has been with Traxpay since 2014 and is currently our head of delivery. Before he came on board at Traxpay, he gained project experience across various customers and industries as a technical project manager, software architect and chief developer during his several years of consulting work. In addition to major projects in the telecommunications and media sectors, he has successfully developed innovative technology solutions in various industries, which have proved sustainable and robust. His strength lies in the analysis and implementation of complex client requirements. As a successful volleyball player he is a good team player and has brought agility on the field to his constantly growing development team. As the only native Hessian in the management team, Thomas lives with his wife and two children in Bad Vilbel near Frankfurt.

Sven Weissmann, CSO Sven Weissmann is CSO at Traxpay. Before, Sven was connected to Traxpay over many years as supervisory board member and chairman. He is also one of the Equity Shareholder of Traxpay. During his time at the University of Mannheim, Sven worked as a consultant and at the same time earned his doctorate in “World Class Manufacturing”. He also completed his Diploma Commercial at the Colegio de Espana, Salamanca, in Taxation & Finance. From 2000 he worked for SAP in various commercial and technical roles, with an international focus. Following positions as Managing Director, EMEA at Cognizant and President & SVP at HCL Technologies for EMEA & APAC, he became Managing Partner at Accenture in 2017. Sven has also been a Traxpay investor from the very beginning and has held non-executive supervisory board seats for many years at Traxpay. Traxpay’s vision and the increasing momentum of the company in the market led to his decision to join the management of Traxpay in 2019. His focus is on digitalisation, IT as well as business process optimisation and corporate management. Privately he has lost his heart to ice hockey and brings this spirit to Traxpay: agility & passion, straightforwardness and a lot of drive as a team player.

Dr. Ferdinand Vogel, Managing Director and Head of Operations, Traxpay
Ferdinand Vogel has been with Traxpay since 2018 and is responsible for Operations. After his studies in Mathematics in Münster and Princeton he built up longtime experience as CIO and COO in the Banking and Payment industry. As Managing Director of emagine in Deutsche Bank group Ferdinand was a pioneer in digitalization of Banking Business. At Commerzbank and WestLB he was in charge of bankwide SW development, before he put his focus at First Data Europe on Credit Card Business. Supply Chain Finance experience he gained as Board Member of VR Leasing. With his role as COO at Traxpay Ferdinand returned to his FinTech roots. As Six Sigma Master Black Belt he is in charge of implementing efficent and effective processes for Customer Service and Quality Assurance. Ferdinand lives with his wife in Krefeld, where he is organizing Waterpolo sports in his free-time.  

Markus Wohlgeschaffen, Managing Director and Head of Markets & Sales, Traxpay
Markus Wohlgeschaffen is responsible for Markets & Sales. When he joined Traxpay in January 2021, he already had a broad range of experience in the FinTech sector. Markus was instrumental in setting up a marketplace for trade receivables. Before moving to the FinTech space in early 2016, he held various leadership positions in sales and development of trade and supply chain finance products at UniCredit and its predecessor institutions for more than 30 years. Markus’ product expertise ranges from traditional foreign trade products (letters of credit, documentary collections, trade guarantees) and short-, medium- and long-term trade finance (forfaiting, import-export finance, ECA loans, structured finance, ABS, commodity trade finance) to secondary market and portfolio management as well as innovative supply chain finance products (BPO, web-based multi-bank process and customer platforms). He lived and worked in Japan and Italy for over eleven years and thus brings important intercultural skills to the company beyond his extensive expertise. Markus has served as a senior member of various industry bodies, including as Chairman of the Global Trade Industry Council (GTIC), the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade (BAFT) and as a member of the Advisory Board of the ICC Banking Commission, the Board of Trustees of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Dortmund, the SWIFT Corporate Advisory Group (CAG) and the World Trade Board. Markus also advised the Italian state credit insurance company SACE and the ICC Banking Commission. Markus lives with his family in Munich. His hobbies are travelling, sports and hiking with his dog.
